Syria as diverstionary tactics. Israel is giving a bit of support to Bush. Lets thrown a few bombs in Syria, the populace starts thinking that there is still terrorists out there and support the continuing killing in Iraq.

Such divertionary tactics will be common leading to next presidential election date.

This may well mean profits for American companies and a good stockmarket value as a consequence but it may have little effect on jobs and the economy in general. It is a good way to get rid of US dollars though.
