Rambus........

The Infineon appeal related to purported Rambus fraud is thrown out.

This means that pending issues are:
1. FTC hearing and deliberations over patents; may conclude later this month.
2. Present lawsuits with Micron, Infineon can now proceed.
3. Greater incentive for all to settle and move forward.
4. Greater likelihood that Rambus will get higher royalties from DRAM manufacturers with whom it has a good relationship, ie, Samsung, for DDR

Rambus reports earings later this month. Future looks good wtih Sony Playstation 3 using Rambus IP, announcement of XDRAM for future high end PCs, and the possibility of higher royalties from DRAM manufacturers for DDR infringement on Rambus patents.

STill a long way to go, but more exciting, for sure. Stock up $6.59/share so far today. <g>
