The NYT's commentary does not follow from the facts presented in their own story. You cannot conclude from the fact that the administration is making changes to its strategies that "its plans for reconstruction" .. "have proved insufficient".

YOU don't think it follows because you'd rather listen to some retired and tired general on FOX, freshly back from Iraq, who tells you what you want to hear.......that major progress is being made and that the Iraqis love us. Well, its not true.

However, if you insist on listening to FOX, you have to be clever since they are heavily biased in favor of the White House's view of things, and in fact, are a mouthpiece for the WH.

For an example, the buildings FOX shows under construction look the same as they did three months. It looks like there has been no progress. And that's because there has been no progress. If and when FOX finds a pic that presents a positive outlook, they run it over and over again, giving the impression that things are better when they are not. If things were going so well, FOX would be able to freshen those pics with new ones but they don't because there are not many new positive pics to be had.

Are some good things happening? Of course........but its more bad than good......in spite of how often you make statments to the contrary.

You guys get so used to being spoonfed liberal commentary you haven't the slightest notion when it happens. It is called "liberal propaganda".

LOL! You're funny!
