Not really, but if doctors would take the time to do a little research, they would find that there's more out there to control pain then the pills the drug reps are pushing on 'em. Pain management for cancer patients has some a long way but the GP's and minor specalistist aren't really looking at what they're doing to control patients pain without getting them addicted.

It's their responsibility as the care giver to provide the patient with as much information as possible and they're woefully behind in this. There's no excuse for it, they're just too damn lazy.
