Congo bongo tongo longo?

Lango tango bango mango.

The new capital of the Congo is Losocasho.

In the Heart of Darkness right now, you have five or six minutes to realize your investment in the project. That compares favourably to ten to twelve minutes in BC and Newfoundland.

DRC knows how to dangle projects.

The Brits are famous for starting copper mine in Katanga.
They throw in about 200 million every so many years into mine restarts after corrosion and lack of maintenance wears the last mill into rust.

The French did that too in the same area, and lost 100 or more technicians in a tribal war in the 70's.

DRC stands for dicey and really crazy.

The Anvil Mining project in DRC was financed by a South African company and payback is very fast, however they have embarked on their Phase 2 expansion before total payback has occurred, They are very confident of DRC at this moment. They are a long way from the NE where the recent clashes have all occurred.
As regards FM, they mined and moved to Zambia all the ore from Lonshi necessary to payback their Bwana Mkubwa expansion, and not only that, they used contract miners from South Africa so their equipemnt was at risk. FM has now taken over the mining themselves, their confidence is building.
