Brinker is an interesting study in the power of suggestion. He gets to have his say, make up anything he likes and have no rebuttal for 6 hours every week to a national audience. Is there anyone here who couldn't make a sale given that distribution channel?

What is more amazing is that, given his ability to make the sale, there are so many who criticize him roundly. It's good to know that propaganda of the Brinker variety has its limitations.

Brinker could have come out the good guy by being upfront about his limitations and thereby avoiding LOSING SO MUCH MONEY for his customers. There was no need to take such outsized risks except to inflate his ego which apparently gets beaten up by the disdain of his colleagues.

It's disturbing that Brinker's emotions get the better of his logic and that he can go from quite sane and conservative to insane and dangerous in a nanosecond.

I don't "really need" to do anything except enjoy the ride since the March, 2003 call. A shame your bitterness caused you to miss out.
