Deadbull, Jim Willie and Russ -- you undoubtedly will be right "at some point" but there is nothing in the U.S. stock market environment that suggests that the apocalypse is on us now. It may be damaging to the pocket book now to position yourself on the short side of the market unless you are content to have the position go against you for an indeterminate amount of time. I for one will wait until those who have established a strong public track record for excellence in market timing -- I'll print the names of my non-exclusive list, James Stack, John Hussman, Ned Davis, Richard Russell and Lowry's -- suggest that it is time to be bearish.

Thinking of Fall,

I left Vermont (a ten year annual vacation destination for us) today in disgust:

Vacancies of commercial & tourism properties are choking to death, virtually no life left.

Class separation throughout the state is accelerating rapidly & nearing implosion.

I expect crime to explode in designated VT communities within the next year to 18 months.

Where in the US can one live in a honest and free thinking society?

Even the Cows of VT are disgusted,
they understand my frustration,
they line up for shoots...(photo of course.)

Our images of VT will be published in the near days (3-5)to follow this post...
