Davis had nothing to do with the sex allegations. The Times did an independent investigation by Pulitzer Prize winning writers. More women stepped forward themselves after that.

The Times has also printed several stories very critical of Davis and Bustamante. This is not a case of black and white journalism at all. They do endorse rejecting the recall, but if Davis were guilty of the serious sex charges they'd be publishing those stories too.

JDN -- "Happens all the time (lesser paid secretaries suing their bosses and his company."

You have not the slightest idea what you are talking about.
To sue for sexual harassment one has to have witnesses, strong, positive evidence, and clear, serious damages. And even then the outcome of the suit is not guaranteed, but what is guaranteed it is destruction of the career.

Here the suits would be hopeless.
