They couldn't turn away a male patient if he insisted on service, not without potential repercussions. As a practical matter, there is a difference between men excluding women and women excluding men, the historical difference. It's the same as black associations excluding whites when white associations cannot exclude blacks. Now if you have in your area male general practitioners who specialize in men, that would be interesting to hear about. Man bites dog and all that...
