Speed isn't the problem. Difference in speed is. As an ex racer I can tell you it does not make me nervous running 160 down the front straight with 3 cars wide. We are all doing 150+ and we all are trying to go faster. Throw in a clown doing 45 on the way to get the paper and now we have a problem. I find our highways terrifying for just that reason, difference in speed.
