The money wasted every four years on Presidential campaigns is disgraceful.

I agree; we would be wiser (in my opinion) to direct those funds toward the acquisition of influential lower offices in key areas or, perhaps, to fund hard, credible research for our more controversial positions (drug legalization, Austrian economics, and so on).
