You are living a lie. North Korea has done nothing but build nukes. Iraq was no threat to the US or its neighbors. The middle east grows more violent and more unstable every day. Al Qaida was helped by our invasion of Iraq. And people all over the world have turned against the US.

Neocon - just wanted to take a moment to thank you. Your posts show an enviable command of facts, eloquence... and grace under pressure.

Generally, after having stayed away for a while from "political" threads, I find that everyone here - on all sides of issues - became sharper and better. Very interesting. I also realize - and find it fascinating - that apparently no one has ever changed their minds on issues as a result of these discussions. Makes me think that we, humans, ultimately tend to elect our political positions not as a result of logic and rational analyses, but because of some deeper emotional or temperamental, or perhaps archetypal reasons... g/ng.
