I begged Roosevelt to stop WWII when one of my uncles died in Jan. 44. Then the other one died less than a month later. Then the war ended. F**king a$$holes.

Well I am about as patriotic as one can get. But I have long nursed a belief that America is unworthy of my life or that of any of my sons until she learns that she cannot fight terrorist cowards by adhering to the rules of civilized conventions.

These deaths are not courtesy of the President - at least not of him alone. They are courtesy of cowardly senators (especially liberal senators), congressmen, newspeople and everyday American citizens who cannot fathom our entering a country and killing people. To bring America nearly to its knees, the Iraqis only need put some poor Iraqi woman in harms way. When the woman dies, we begin seeking ways to wage a kinder, gentler, more antiseptic war instead of simply getting the bloody job done and over. This belief in gentle war has got to stop. Our boys are dying because of it - not because of Bush.

The term "Iraqi prisoner" ought to be nearly oxymoronic, except for those relative few we send toward our enemies with their privates cut off and stuffed into their mouths.
