We are stuck with this madman for 4 more years. I think it is no coincidence that at the same time that Cheney took control of the Iraq war from Rumsfeld, that Israel began attacking Syria and Lebanon. Cheney and Rove know that peacekeeping operations will be a net negative publicity-wise for at least 6 months to a year and that does not fit well with their election plans. Cheney's job is to get the army out of peacekeeping mode and back into fighting, air power, and rally 'round the flag. This will be done by getting Israel to provide the wider conflict, with Cheney "forced" to bomb Syria and invade just in time for the elections. That is the 4 more year plan. TP
