That is a ridiculous statement. I heartily disagree with some democrats and very much like from Republicans and Independents. I would not support anyone just because he's in some party. If you do, you're putting on blinders. Just so you know, my taste runs toward strong moderates who are tough on environmentalism. I can tolerate a liberal so long as he/she's not wishy-washy and against the common sense mainstream. Contrary to the Bushies, I believe pollution COSTS jobs, at least in the long run. Kill the golden goose it doesn't lay any more eggs. I also value honesty, lack opf hypocrisy, knowledge and intelligence, service to country and lack of corruption. I lean democrat but I have no quarrel with moderate Republicans. Especially these days.
