jr, it doesn't always work, far from it.

Sometimes it is kind of like a dog chasing its tail. The waves subdivide. You basically don't know if 5 little waves equal 1, or 1 wave equals 1. It takes corrections and such to get back on target.

I got frustrated for a while early this year, and use more TA now, but with gold and the HUI it is still very difficult. TA just adds another gauge so to speak, from which to measure if you might even be in the ballpark.

A most bullish count for the HUI would for example have this wave I'm doing in a ii of 3, about to start a iii of 3, rather than the one I've shown. I don't think so, but it all depends on if the dollar does some weird and crazy extension and really goes in the hole. There is no reason imo to expect that, but ... anything can happen.

I am watching bonds, but having a hard time figuring out what is going on. Same with XNG. Lot of folks think XNG is ready to explode. Maybe but I can't see it.

Re bonds I have had a suspicion there are some global cross currents at play, and as such they are not responding totally normal like. Just read Sinclair, he is of the same opinion apparently.

All in all there is a lot of weird shit going on today, and it best to be somewhat prepared imo. You might notice I am becoming a bit more defensive, probably should have already.
