LEXR seems to be being manipulated right before earning report next week. Digital camera will likely be the best selling Christmas item. 3-4MPixel cameras are the sweet spot. They will need a lot of memory sticks and compact flash cards. This is my "Amazon-with-earning" play for the shopping season.

Zack's announced #4 Rankings (Sell) on Genesis Microchip Inc

Genesis Microchip Inc. (NASDAQ:GNSS) is a world leader in the development of display technologies for consumer and PC-display products. Genesis Microchip, which along with Pixelworks (NASDAQ:PXLW) jointly announced the termination of their proposed merger in early August, reported a solid first quarter of fiscal year 2004 performance in late July. Its pro forma net income was a penny above the consensus while total revenues improved by +30%. However, lingering uncertainty surrounding many technology industries have apparently kept analysts from boosting this company's earnings estimates. In fact, earnings estimates for this year and next remain below levels from three months ago. Nevertheless, Genesis Microchip is an innovative company, and its most recent earnings performance bodes well for the future. Therefore, it may be in the best interest of investors to stay put a bit longer with Genesis Microchip and watch for its earnings estimates to gain more upward mobility.
