Clark has really turned out to be the amazing disappearing Presidential candidate. Not quite "Mr. Cellophane" Graham, but getting there it seems.

Why are the American people cynical and disaffected? Partly because of a thousand laws like this on the books that are enforced, selectively, arbitrarily, if at all.

Gross said Clark would "be open to investigation," but it is not clear what the FEC would do because there is "no entirely bright line" that indicates when a paid appearance becomes a political one.
