Dems: New Recall in 100 Days

California Democrat Party state spokesman Bob Mulholland said his party is giving Arnold Schwarzenegger just 100 days before a new recall effort may be launched.

Mulholland made his threat on Fox News Tuesday night after polls closed and major press outlets declared Arnold Schwarzenegger the winner.

On Tuesday, Gray Davis declined to refute reports that he may back a new recall effort against Schwarzenegger.

Already press reports indicate that Democrats have $3 million prepared for a new recall effort.

Also, Hollywood billionaire Stephen Bing has promised to finance any Democratic-backed recall effort.

Great piece. I'd hate to be any candidate sitting under that $100-200 million load of bricks. It could definately pay off if the economy starts putting the jobs fat back on the bones, and Iraq continues to stabilize. Then that money could be a positive ad bludgeon.

Just got my Atlantic in the mail yesterday. "Young Rumsfeld". Intriguing reading. I'll be reading the "Vulcans" when it's on the shelves...

Any idea who/how many are tracking "backdoor committees" for various campaigns? Does this include websites?

In addition, "backdoor committees" are funneling millions of dollars into various campaigns by claiming a tax-exempt status to avoid regulation by state or federal election authorities, according to critics.
