PLoS Biology. biology.plosjournals.org From the blurbs: PLoS Biology is the premier open-access journal published by the Public Library of Science. PLoS Biology features works of exceptional significance in all areas of biological science, from molecules to ecosystems, including works at the interface with other disciplines. The first issue is supposed to appear in three days time. Perhaps not so much biotechnology here, but it may well be worth keeping an eye on. The price is OK (i.e. no charge) as long as you don't want to have something published. Then they will ask for a contribution of 1.500 USD. Erik
