i thought i heard it reported that arnold intends to leave the car tax in place...he said today that he pledged no new taxes and will stick to that, so maybe he won't increase property taxes

given the stats that i have seen on the growth in CA's spending vs. the non-growth in population and what little inflation there has been of late, i think there is room to cut a massive amount from the state budget...the stats were quoted on the arnold for governor thread, pretty telling as to why gray davis will soon be the ex-governor
