Arnold's victory sends a message to the rest of the nation. I wonder if the Republicans will misinterpret that message. One message is: a socially-liberal fiscally-conservative candidate can beat both a Democrat and a Republican. Another message is: Republicans, don't get you're hopes up on California. Look at what happened to Prop 54... Chalk up one for the moderates.

I was opposed to the recall because I think it puts too much power in the hands of a few people. I don't think that recall should be triggered unless there are crimes committed."
