Russia is hurting because what they buy is mostly from Europe and they have to pay in expensive Euros. In fact it doesn't matter what currency oil is priced. The message is that they want more money for their oil, current price in depreciated USD is too low.

Wonder if that's why Spook/41 went to Putin several weeks ago. Seems to me there are separate camps in Washington over the proper value of the dollar.....Cowboy needs a lower dollar for job stimulation (yea, I know, won't help) to save his A$$ next year....banksters oppose a lower dollar because of it's derivative implications......Cowboy must know that he's not getting complete cooperation from the banksters and got daddy to suggest some pressure....of course Putin will suggest this but is not about to follow through because we pay him so well.
