I do not altogether disagree with you, about this instance. But that is part of my point: I feel safe because I could have justified much more combative behavior in response to the provocation.

It seems that there is an end to my rope, after all, and you have found it. A while back in this discussion I said that I was fond of you. I'm sure you found that insincere, but it wasn't. Over time, you've presented yourself as this Jeckle/Hyde tag team. I actually did have a certain fondness for the earnest fellow who appeared to care about character and growth, but residual fondness has since been utterly obliterated. I can't find that fellow any more. All I can see now is the nasty, suspicious and small, small man. Getting even smaller by the post. I hope that's direct enough. Good riddance to you.

You know, Jewel, I have never insulted your intelligence, your beliefs, your character, your hair- not even your spelling (it took me a minute to figure out what a "pon" was). I confined my criticism to one post of yours about K's personal life which I believed- and still do- went too far afield from discussions that should have remained based on positions not personalities. For you to continue to attack my and other's characters, and for Neo to spend an entire day on it with you, performing his own third party insults (I guess his Le Monde didn't arrive)strikes me as almost unbearably pitiful. You don't hurt me nearly as much as you do yourself, but I also don't enjoy being ridiculed either, so I will put you and Neo on ignore, something I have never done before, until this, too, passes.
