Would that the world were so simple, to paint in black and white and left and right and good and evil and all that malarkey.

If you buy the line from one side or the other, you are in the PT Barnum target audience.

Politicians exist to sucker you. Everything else is just mindless cheerleading from one mob or another. Left or right, they play the same game.

KB, have you checked out the SURGE in the home boys of late?

I covered TOL and DHI for some good profit 2 weeks ago, and just cannot believe what a tear they are on since then.

Perhaps it might be time to enter these as LONG TERM shorts for the next 6 months?

Any thoughts my friend?

Kodiak,

Liberalism in the vien of Noam Chomsky, Richard Rorty, Alexander Sozhenitsyn, is never seen in the press. In fact, I would say that unless you've been through a strong liberal arts program you've probably never heard of the first two, although they are the most dominant thinkers in their field. The only real fire breathing liberals we ever here from are George Soros and Ralph Nader (and him only every 4 years). The rank and file of the democratic party don't qualify as liberals in my book

Liberalism doesn't sell. It's complicated, full of tedious scholarship, full ideas that are often quoted and associated with Marxism, but not understood. Hate TV, hosts that bully and provoke, fat guys spewing insults, etc. - That's what sells. Am I wrong? Who has a broader audience, FOX TV or the NYT? When was the last time you saw a heard an honest to goodness radio liberal talk show host?
