I agree with your take on what is going on out there and appreciate your sharing the data.

I believe the Washington crowd will do everything in their power to keep this thing glued together through the 2004 election. I don't know if they have the tools in their chest to accomplish this.

It is hard for me to believe that we will not have an accident in the financial system during the next year, but i thought we would have had a blow up somewhere by now.

Schwarzenegger promises to cancel car tax increase, so this should put some car buyers on hold in California. Exactly the opposite the Oct 1 car tax increase did to September sales.

Ford dealers advertise huge discounts on 2003 F-150. Like F-150 with MSRP of $21K can be had for $12K.
