I was afraid that the Spanish vote was going to "Block vote" like the black vote did, and doom California to continuing it's problems.

One of my students, who is of Mexican decent, told me that this past weekend her parents received a phone call from some Democratic organization telling them not to vote for Arnold because he was a racist and would do awful things to Hispanics if he were to be elected. She and her parents believed the caller and I assume that her family wasn't the only one to get this type of call. But, judging by the exit numbers, I am happy to see that the Dems attempts at political segregation might be falling on some deaf ears in the Hispanic community.
