There is also a wave of financial services outsourcing gearing up. So even the hottest sector of the US economy is looking dicey on the job market.
nytimes.com

I can pick up on it more and more now, it's been more noticeable in the last month. My online service was down and since I get up early, the call was answered by an Indian. It would appear that my cable provider (Charter Comm.) is dipping their toes in the outsourcing waters. Same with Waterhouse, I've had two recent inquiries routed to India. And the thing is these Indian employees are good at this, and will just get better when they learn to deal with American personalities on service calls.
