Does anyone honestly believe that hard old sonsabitches like me could not find a way around this crap if I DID own any coins? But who? ME? Nawwwww! Finally bought into some Canadian Oil Sands Trust today, figuring it's a way to play the Israelis getting really pissed and hitting Syria hard. Another war? WWIII? Yom Kippur? Seems no one speaks of 1948, 1967, etc...
F 'em... I have been here before. I am old. When I was young I used to say the only thing worth owning was gold, guns, and Rottweilers. Now I add Canadian oil. BTW Hi Patch...moving is complete. Back in the Great NW with a view of Socialist Islamic Dominion of Canada across the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
Out of the Madness of Ahnuld Country ...poor sombitch thinks he can fix that mess without increasing taxes. I bet the shrub is having bowel movement problems tonight after Ahnuld says 71 cents return for every dollar CA sends to DC, and he expects to see action from the stump. What a laugh.

This is one reason why I only keep enough bullion coins around for emergencies, and most of those are pre-1965 "junk silver" coins... On the other hand, I have been collecting various grades of BU silver dollars and other numismatic coins since 1979, so those should be safe from "confiscation" unless the world completely falls apart...
