Robert,

One thing people have to get used to is lies and distortions being told in the liberal media. You never read in the news that Davis has been accused of abusing women who worked for him. Why do you suppose that is?

Davis has a special dirty campaign manager who orchestrates all the smear tactics. He did it last time to Simon and Riordan and he did it this time.

Only this time, no one believed the Davis lies.

Right-o, Shrub the Republican has yet to veto any spending bill that has passed his desk. Even Reagan (he of the huge spending) nixed some spending bills.

Under Clinton, the Democrat, the population of prisons doubled largely due to the very stiff laws for drugs. Besides, he also put together the welfare to work thing AND put together (at least it happened under his watch) a huge surplus.

There's a huge disconnect between the media sound bites (media sucks on all sides IMO) and reality. What passes for news these days is really just the news that's entertaining.

Apparently the networks gave 5 hours total to coverage of the CA recall race. The original governor's race that put Davis back in received 13 minutes total.
