In addition, Skeeter Bug's "monkey with a buy button" could have done a better job as governor than Davis did.

Davis was a "monkey with a signature" as he signed every spending bill and "tax and legislate the corporations to drive jobs out of California" bill the Liberal Burton and his cronies put on his desk. Anyone out of a job or with neighbors out of jobs that were replaced in other states or India knew it. Meanwhile unions employed with Government dollars got raises and better pensions while the rest of us lost health care coverage and paid more for what we get. THe last act Davis did to try to maintain Burton crony support was to sign a bill to REQUIRE companies to give health insurance to all employees. Hillary would have been proud of that one... perhaps the jobs lost will go to her state?

"One thing for sure though, the remaining thieves in Sacramento better either change the way they do things or find better ways to once again dupe the public in to thinking they are "honest" public servants."

thank god the democrats are as flaky as Dipy.....
they left Greyout in the dust....

I agree that "special interest" was what lost big time....no longer can they hide behind the books and those sneaky deals....heaven help those politicians who make those deals in the back of the office and it is found out by some "fair and balanced" newspaper....definitely not the LA times or SF Chronicle (proven shills for democratic party)....

This is the public version of Enron......
