ECHO's bid includes SSLoral. BLS thinks he can continue to be a 'player' with SSLoral. He can have his fancy board meetings and annual meetings and run around New York spending corporate cash while the workers are in CA fussing with the Govenator. When you are in charge of writing the rules (as BLS was in the deal with Intelsat) you make the rules in your favor. If ECHO buys the whole shooting match, BLS knows he will be first in line for the firing squad. Jeff Vayda
