I think quite often it is abundantly clear when John is insulting others, just like when he talks down from his elitist pedestal to us peons, who he sees as clueless & ignorant. When he is called on this poor behavior, he simply responds by giving the perception (read; revising history) that he never indulges in such demeaning activities. He isn't much different from his elitist peers & left leaning politicians who have no problem revising history to attack, demean create false perceptions or to fit their ideological views. Same for how he makes accusations in absolute terms when facts & reality stand in stark contrast to said accusations. I've called him on this several times as have others. He either ignores it or changes the parameters (read; revises history) rather than admit his misstatements & deal with the unadulterated facts. Like his ideological peers, he cannot & will not ever admit to these transgressions even after he has been frequently exposed for having committed them. Again, the creation of a false perception is the reality he & his peers adamantly cling to, regardless of facts or reality. And calling other posters silly, self-defeating, and childish is just one minor example of the hypocrisy. Me thinks he casts too many stones while standing in front of his glass house. BTW LB, no need to PM me for going overboard. Anyone who objectively reads this thread knows what I've posted is accurate. Why should anyone be given special treatment here or any thread on SI? Tolerating hypocritical behavior of a vocal minority is not going to raise the level of discussion on this thread. It will only invite more of it.
