Kerry has always defended our fighting men and women. Always. His beef is with the chickenhawks at the top hanging our troops out to dry with policy mistakes. Please correct youself on that.

I am happy to hear of progress in Iraq, of course. And sorry but I am not really familiar with some of the names you have written :-) What lies are you referring to? Is anyone saying there is NO progress in Iraq? The criticism I heard so far is more on the treatment (and occasional accidental killing) of civilians, errors in conduct due to lack of cultural understanding, awarding of lucrative contracts to preselected companies, etc.
