"So far there has been no recognition that this is just as legitimate a view to hold as Mojo's is. "

I have three daughters and no boys. I often live my life through their eyes. As they are now growing up I count my self their strongest advocate.

"...should be allowed to engage in the commerce of our nation without the feeling that they can be excluded from participation in that commerce solely because of their gender."

If anyone even hinted that they intended to exclude any one of my daughters from participation in commerce solely because of their gender, I would be at the front of the battle and would not stop until my daughter had full and complete inclusive participation.

Since you have not been willing to discuss the reasoning of the mojo hypo, you will likely declare that a contradiction. I declare it your loss. You have not thought the issue through and now you are defensive because you don't get how people you normally respect for their views on things hold an opposing view point. That is the problem Chris...you shouted from the roof tops, "That mojo's a bigot" from the start without getting to know the details and now you are unwilling to admit you may have missed something.

Some day perhaps the Mojo defenders will accept that it is legitimate for me to hold the belief of conscience that the daughters I am raising should be allowed to engage in the commerce of our nation without the feeling that they can be excluded from participation in that commerce solely because of their gender.

So far there has been no recognition that this is just as legitimate a view to hold as Mojo's is.

If that's what you want then fine. I was to at least some extent a "Mojo defender". I agree it is entirely legitimate for you to hold the belief. Will you return the favor and agree that it is legitimate for me to hold the belief of conscience that people should be allowed to associate and do business with those that they want to associate and do business with and not associate with those that they don't want to associate with?

We don't have to agree with each others opinion. Just respect that the other person holds a "legitimate" "belief of conscience."

Tim

LOL! A bigot will not get what you just said! They will simply attack it.

Why not try controlling what other people THINK!! "Rights" is such a trivial matter! Get to the core of it! Why should anybody but religious bigots be allowed the freedom to think?! If others want to think (impure thoughts)...send them to Mona's house!
