"Any old lie will do <G>"

I cannot tell a lie........
(but I can spread a few rumors 8^D)

Reading on Yahoo last night (I think CWEI)
there was mention of a short squeeze in NG
futures. That may not sound like much,
but there are games to be played as we all
know. Also, don't forget that the OPEC
boys want to see real value, not clownbuck
valuations, for their oil. Again rumors
about going to Euro's to price oil.

Some of this is in the news, but sometimes
it seems that doesn't matter short term for
the traders. But then at least they aren't
market makers/crooks on NYSE.

Anyway, I have been thinking this morning
about the energy futures rising while the
energy stocks are doing crap. Based on the
latest inputs from Robry next week's storage
number should still be a strong injection.
Squeezing the shorts now may set up some
short selling next week, ostensibly based
on a "surprising" injection for this late.

This would provide a golden opportunity
for the funds to buy into energies just
in time for winter.

Oh, and don't forget that China is still
increasing energy consumption at a fast
rate, so it isn't just US demand anymore,
at least for oil. Actually NG too, if
you count LNG to Japan and Korea.

But then again maybe I am just naive <GGG>.

Ed

Can't speak for NG but oil is up on the turmoil today in Iraq. Or say they say.

Looks like shorts in the futures markets are a big factor, plus some colder weather forecasts....
