I do not quite understand how you can discuss contingencies that are mere guesses. As far as I am concerned, the only matter worth discussion is whether there is a reasonable conscience claim. I do not know how a court would rule, nor any of the other things adduced as "practical". I do not know what you expect me to infer from your narrative of Jewel's purported moods. I did read a whole slew of posts where I had appeared to drop out, and did not notice dejection. I also note that when I re- entered, and was apprised of the dropping of a specifically religious claim, I detailed my opposition to him, and he did not seem upset. Sure, I suppose he was happy to have me concede that he had formulated it, finally, as a worthwhile point, but why shouldn't that please him? The more this goes on, the righter I feel.......
