No need to worry about your blood pressure, Oral.... AS did me the honor of calling me a genius (now that hasn't happened much lately <g>) and then asked a very relevant question: What would I cut? I have now answered AS's very relevant question by outlining my approach to the problem:

Message 19387161

After receiving AS's comments on the approach, I will be happy to circle back to the specific categories where cuts (the more accurate terminology under my approach is increase rollbacks, for I am advocating setting most spending at 6 percent above 1998 levels after adjusting those levels for inflation) would be made under my approach.

You may find you have something constructive to add to the discussion as we go along. Midwest good sense can be in short supply sometimes. <g>

P.S. Have you noticed how AS and the new California governor have the same initials???

You don't deal well with facts, do you?
15-yard penalty. Understatement. :-)

I can't imagine why I took you off ignore.
I've repeatedly made that same mistake recently. AS is truly a waste of good bytes.
