I fully understand those numbers, and you fully don't understand what I'm saying. I'm not jealous of doctors making money, and in fact I do think that as business people they should be allowed to make what the market will bear.

The fact is, healthcare is subsidized, just not the way you think of it. You pay to treat the people who can't afford, and doctors are taking their nickel in the meanwhile. I don't have a problem with paying what it costs for surgery, or a 100 bucks for an office visit, if that's a reasonable cost. But it's not, it's not even close to a real cost because if I didn't have insurance they would charge me a different sum of money.

Do you know that doctors used to offer to pay your deductible???? It's illegal now.

What does that tell you?

I guess the last time you went into jiffy lube you paid the 35 bucks for the air filter???
