No matter who won or lost in Calif, it would have been a serious defeat for the Dems. Even if the recall had failed, it would have been a serious defeat for the Dems.

I don't see how Arnie can fix California, with an overwhelming liberal democrat legislature. They'll cause deadlock and gridlock at every opportunity, just out of spite.
