More silliness from the "zero tolerance" policies in schools.

This isn't just silliness from zero tolerance. It's a systemic problem - the squeezing out of judgment and common sense from all bureaucratic systems. The idea that "to be fair," rules must be applied mechanically and only a judge in court can exercise discretion.
