<<ACFlyer Mike dropping in to mark the top ;0)>>

Ouch! I see your barb got the intended rise outa him,LOL

I only got 100 outa the 127... It's the round lots that I like. Duzn't mean that I am more bearish than yourself ...I just want the insurance. ya know if TEO I won't be able to get outa my stuff (to thin) so I need protection with a little teeth in it.I can also see gold goin up a hunnerd and the mkts goin up at the same time like this year.If so I got insurance and if it ain't needed it costs me nada an I even maka buck.

So far so good .

<<do I not invest as I preach? Do I preach at all? Am I investing or playing?>>

LOL well ya sure as hell preach ...No doubt about that....I won't call it nagging %^) an as one of the two main recipients I ain't complainin, nor do I see Mq complain. I don't understand AC sayin that you don't practice what ya preach seems to me that you sure do....

Investing or playin? Is this a trick question? I could see someone sayin I'm playin the mkts but with he choice of a ranch on the South Fork or the shopping cart being held over my head ya know how deadly serious it is. If prudence is investing then you are the "mother of all" investors..... Still when ya buy a dollop or two what I'm buying then you, I suspect, are doin a bit'o playin &^)...Is OK we know what all work an no play would do to Jay....

If I was looking at California real estate, I would tend to look at Southern California - San Diego (biotech driven), Inland Empire (Riverside Area) and select parts of Los Angeles.

It may take a long time to make a decent return in the Silicon Valley area on residential property. One reason is demographics - Silicon Valley tends to be older people, and in the expensive areas like Atehrton, they keep retiring and/or dying, producign a constant supply of homes. A very strong economic recovery would be needed to ea up all that supply.

If you just want to live there, it's a great place....
