Did you watch the program? It was excellently done. I think I'll write my congressmen and ask them to increase funding of PBS, and then I 'll send PBS a check myself today.

The candid interviews with Chalabi and key intelligence officers confirm what many of us have been saying. That the reasons given to Americans for going to war in Iraq were not true. That the post war plans were not well cast.

Most importantly, the connections between Iraq and Al Qaeda were non existent prior to the war. These charges were fabricated to connect Saddam with 9-11 as a way of justifying the war. Ironically, since the war began in Iraq, terrorists from all ilks, including Al Qaeda, have come there to join in the fighting with the Baathists.

Yes, Iraq is the central front on the war on terror, but it is a front that we fomented.
