Arnold's father was a Nazi and he clearly had a fascination with Hitler. I'm sure he's not a Nazi now, but it's part of his background and enters into his personality. He was quoted as a young man as saying "I want to be the most mighty man in the world". And he didn't mean just muscular might. That's why his heros include Hitler, though he disapporved of what Hitler did with his power.
