Japanese Industry Leaders Honored as 'Stars of Innovation' for Developing Pioneering Applications of Programmable Logic
SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- In celebration of its 20th anniversary, Altera Corporation (Nasdaq: ALTR - News) today announced its Japan Stars of Innovation. Under the Stars of Innovation initiative, Altera customers are honored for groundbreaking use of programmable logic in their end applications. Altera's Stars of Innovation in Japan include Sony Corporation, NEC Corporation, Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd., Fujitsu Limited, and Anritsu Corporation. These companies will participate in the 10th annual PLD World exhibition taking place this week in Tokyo, where they will receive their Stars of Innovation awards and deliver presentations on how they have applied Altera programmable logic in their products.
