His campaign rhetoric correctly identified the problem -- piggies at the trough. It did not specify which parts of the trough would be drained first, or which pigs would be led to slaughter. The public seemed more concerned that the trough be drained and the pigs slaughtered than it did with which part of the slop would be mopped up first.
