Interesting potential problem on cell phone cameras. An item on the QUALCOMM thread notes that Motorola was unable to meet orders for cell phone cameras because there was something wrong with the sensor supplied by Fuji. Apparently the Fuji sensor is also used in camera phones made by Samsung and others. If this results in delayed availability of phones, it also would delay orders for flash memory.

The real threat is not from oversupply or shortage of wafers. The real threat is when all those Taiwanese flash card makers start to commoditize the market. So far I have not seen price erosion because memory stick or CompactFlash is still about the same price as a few months ago, when that comes eventually, both SNDK and LEXR will plummet, just like the DRAM business.
