Hello LPS5, Good morning! To continue our discussion while waiting for more self-evident truth to emerge from much irrelevant facts, and not get drowned in spot-off and unsupported opinions while I down a not-often-allowed Starbucks ice Mocca on a Saturday morning, after accumulation of much loot over the week, following months of the same, based on discerning seemingly correct take of truths from amongst the facts.
<<Alternately stated: how would my take on the markets and/or the economy in any way, shape, or form mitigate...or, for that matter, support...your apparent inability to discern the difference between facts and opinions?>>
... sometimes what you or I may view as facts may be nothing more irrelevant facts, extraneous to the search for truth, which in turn may be mistaken for floundering opinions, even as the self-evident truth is obvious to the most casual of passing observers riding pass on horseback going at 40 miles an hour.
So, <<my take on the markets and/or the economy>> encapsulated in a streaming number of posts over the years, expressed in judgment, may in fact be truth, as opposed to opinions, and therefore your <<take on the markets and/or the economy>> in many ways, shapes, or forms may colour your opinion on what is opinion, fact, and truth.
<< I wouldn't call answering a question with a question anything even beginning to resemble "conversation,">>
… Apparently not, because as stated, you did not see <<how would my take on the markets and/or the economy in any way, shape, or form mitigate...or, for that matter, support...your apparent inability to discern the difference between facts and opinions>> and truth.
<<given the confusion I've seen where facts versus opinions are considered, it is not a definition that I find altogether surprising>>
… Do you find it partially less confusing now that we are conversing about it in a series of seemingly unrelated but definitely connected questions and answers :0)
I am as unsure as I was before in how best to answer your original question <<how you are "not altogether right"?>>. I have an opinion, but I need more facts about <<"where [I] am coming from">> to make a cogent and easily understandable explanation, especially since my original response to you was in two parts:
Message 19390873 <<You are not wrong in all that you say, and yet, you are not altogether right :0) The truth, hopefully, is somewhere here achamchen.com as opposed to where KastelCo say it is ;0)>>
… with all the :0) and ;0) that you have chosen to ignore, and a pointer to stuff that backs up my ‘opinions’ you have apparently missed.
I therefore asked you what I than asked you, specifically, siliconinvestor.com <<What is your view on the US equity market and you assumptions about the underlying economy ?>>, to which I have received no reply.
In other words, or as you would say <<Alternately stated>>, apparently, you are contending that my view of the world are ‘opinions’ instead of summary of the truth, and your judgment on whether they are opinions or truth is not to be questioned, and if questioned, you will apparently not answer;0)
This is in fact the way of Libertarians Member 4795607 , Republicans, Democrats, Communists and Fascists. Since I am none of the above, I do not have to follow the rules unilaterally made :0)
