I think this explains a lot of Rush's positions. He seems to have formed his liberal hating opinions out of self loathing. One of the clarions of the right is outed, as were William "Roll dem bones!" Bennet, Pat "Lets nuke the State Dept" Robertson, and Jerry "God caused 9/11" Falwell. The right is crumbling under the hypocrisy of their most outspoken advocates.

Well, I may have said that tongue in cheek. I feel pity for RUSH and wish he recovers from addiction. However, in the process if he committed crimes, then that is a different story and should be pursued accordingly (and fairly).
