Conservatives put down more socialistic countries like Europe and Canada, but in those countries there is very little fraud, very few pigs at the trough. I would prefer a happy medium. But the great debate never stops.

Conservatives these days are going so far as to say public education ought to be abolished. I really thin that movement has gone too far.

The other big issue which Rush and Tommy Chong bring us is that we need to legalize drugs, soft drugs anyway. Chong got six months in prison for selling pipes and Rush is just as bad as any heroin junkie with his addiction. The drugs he's addicted to are the same strength opiate as heroin. Of course he will get no prison time. But it's time for conservatives to deal with the reality that the war on drugs is a collosal waste. Legalizing them could actually bring down drug use and would raise huge revenues if heabvily taxed. Treatment for addicts would also be paid for and readily available.
